About the game
Hello!
Some years ago I made a board game. It was a really cool game and it became the foundations for the videogame I wanted to make. Fast forward some years later, after many failed attempts in roblox studio, I decided that if I want to make something playable, I should assemble a team to help me make the game in unreal engine.
The game is going to be set in the Aegean sea, the crossroad of 3 continents (Asia, Europe and Africa). It is set in the future in the year 2060. This means laser guns, futuristic vehicles and a lot more, way more interesting than these 2 stereotypical future games/movies features, that I won’t write because I don’t want anyone stealing my ideas. For the storyline I am planning of making it so that you can complete it from various factions, such as the Greeks, the Turks, the Balkans and other groups that have nothing to do with ethnicity. I am thinking of making the multiplayer mode first and the singleplayer second, but I am not sure what will I do.
The game is going to be a city survival (no zombies), rpg (not like an "ultra realistic life simulator"), open world and mmo. I am thinking of making this in unreal engine. If you are willing to help me, or want to learn more about this server join my discord server, or contract me in any of the social media (link page). Before I list what skills you should have for this job I ‘ll state this: I don’t have money to pay you (at first). I ‘ll be honest with you, I don’t know when I will find money, but it is the first thing I am going to do after I find someone to help me (there are some ways to find money as a start up company, but I don’t promise anything). Also I am not begging for money, so if you hate your money you can wait until I find someone to help me and then I ‘ll need all the money you can give me. Finally, I want to say that I don’t try to scam you. I know that a lot of you are thinking that I try to, but I really don’t. Give me a chance, so we can make this game a reality. By the way, I am aware that there are a lot of possibilities that no one will apply, because of the lack of money thing. Because of this, I am not asking for the perfect coders, 3d modelers or 3d animators. I am asking for people who at least know what they are doing.
Specifications:
-
Knowledge of C++.
If you don’t know programming feel free to apply if you know any of the below:
-
3d modeling ( I tried to learn this, I just can't . So, if you are a 3d modeler we need you).
-
Map developer
-
3d animator
-
*I have no idea how to do any of the above. I am willing and planning to learn coding and 3d animations, but it will take time.*
If you know anything else that is needed for a videogame feel free to apply.
*If what you choose is linked with working on a game engine you have to know how to use unreal engine 4.*
*You have t own a machine powerful enough to run the program you will use*
*I ‘ll test you before you officially enter the team. I don’t want anyone to troll me and I want to be sure that you know what you are doing. It will be a simple test, like code a lamp to open automatically or model a gun.*
Extra specifications:
-
You should have a way of surviving. You should have something that will provide you enough so you can survive. I won’t ask much ( for the period I don’t pay you. If I find money I will become demanding. Not too much demanding, but demanding), so don’t worry about not getting something in time.
-
You should know how to communicate either in English, or in Greek or in French. I prefer not in the latter because I don’t remember much Frenc.
-
You should be able to tollerate others, so we can work as a team.
-
If you want to ask me anything about the game contract me in one of my links in the link tab.
*In case I can't find funds for the gam after a period of time, I 'll probably stop the developent of the game. I don't want anyone to work for nothing for a long period of time, but I hope I can find funds. I have think of a few ways of funding, but there is a lot of possibilies that none of them will work.*
If you want to apply click on the discord link in the link tab.
I hope you think about it.
